20th Willesden
The 20th Willesden can trace its history back to 1908 and is one of the oldest Groups in the area. The Group has been at its present address and providing Scouting in Cricklewood since 1925. Scouting is a uniformed movement, and our Group wears a Royal Blue and Gold scarf which has been presented to many thousands of members and Leaders over the years, and is worn with the utmost pride.
Before joining young people can have three to four weeks to try the Section with no pressure to join (although everyone does). We are a very active Group and provide an interesting selection of events for all our members to take part in. These range from day trips and camping weekends to much more adventurous activities and are aimed at providing fun, adventure and learning for all members whatever the age. All of our events are planned and run by highly qualified and skilled Leaders and Instructors.
We hope you will allow your young person to take part in as many activities as possible. So, come and get involved with the 20th Willesden as a Squirrel Scout, Beaver Scout, Cub Scout or Scout and take part in the BIG challenge that is Scouting today.
