Seasons Greetings and plans for 2022

It has no doubt been another difficult year for Scouting in Brent, but we have continued to offer great opportunities for young people and our membership has grown.

We changed our name to Brent District and welcomed 8th Kenton to our district. We have opened 2nd Kingsbury who already have 46 young members and a waiting list for Beavers. 28th Willesden has opened a second Beaver Colony taking 20 young people off their waiting list.

I look forward to seeing what 2022 will bring, we already have interest in opening Squirrels and other completely new Scout Groups in line to open. 28th Willesden will be opening a second Cub Pack along with 10th Willesden and 27th Willesden re-opening after lockdown.

In 2022 we will also be holding a District Conference and I look forward to seeing lots of you there.

Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year

David Kitchen
District Commissioner
