Scouts at the Brent Proclamation of Accession

On the day of the Proclamation of King Charles III, Brent District Scouts were honoured to support the event at Wembley Stadium. The Scouts joined the local community in paying their respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II and in celebrating the ascension of King Charles III.

The event, organized by the Deputy Lieutenant, the Mayor of Brent and Brent Council, was a solemn but joyous occasion. The Scouts were proud to be a part of the historical moment and to show their support for the new Sovereign.

"We are honored to have been a part of this historic event," said David Kitchen, District Commissioner of Brent District Scouts. "Our Scouts have always been active in the community and it was important for us to be present at this significant moment in our country's history. We hope that everyone who attended appreciated the opportunity to come together in this act of remembrance and celebration."

The 35th Willesden Scout Group was proud to be a part of the Proclamation. Group Scout Leader George said, "It was an honor for our Scouts to be a part of this significant moment in history. They were proud to show their support for the new King and to be a part of the community coming together to mark this occasion."

The Proclamation of King Charles III was a significant moment in the history of the United Kingdom and Brent District Scouts were proud to be a part of it. We believe it was an important moment for the country and for the community, and it was heartening to see so many people coming together.
